Some Pretty Stuff I Found.

Snatched from "The New Yorker"'s blog "Photo Booth" about a the exhibit "Of Beauty and Being," this image
—apparently a composite taken in 1995 and 2010—stands out to me because of its play of planes, and because of the craaaazy interior decorating.

Taken from some random Flickr stream
, what I like most about this photo is the reflecting planes, and the sense that you're seeing everything, all at once. Do I care that it might be photoshopped? Not at all.

Finally, because I have to give a local shoutout, Dina Zolan—a resident photog for "The Red & Black—snapped this photo during the snowpocalypse. The clash of light against the tunneling, forced perspective makes that most awful of cold-frozen things not awful.

  1. I really like the last picture. Something about it is almost frightening.

  2. I love the first picture. The colors and the concept are both really cool!

  3. I LOVE the canoe picture. The angle makes me wonder where the photographer was standing, but regardless of the photographer it still feels like the person in the canoe is completely alone on the water.
