Maya Moore Video

ESPN posted this video on UConn basketball player Maya Moore, arguably the best female collegiate basketball player of all time, and her legacy she leaves behind after graduating this semester. Surely not the best sports video ever, but the voice-over and use of text graphics work very well.

ESPN found a way here to not only focus on the obvious part of the story (the fact that Maya is kinda good), but on the personal story off the court. The video does an excellent job coupling slideshow photographs and video highlights of her career, made for an interesting way to tell a story in a way that it would have taken a very good writer to get the same effect.
